Description
Galvanised U-bolt (pipe clamp) M10 × 102 mm, for 3 1/2" pipe
The CB series galvanised U-bolt is a classic U-shaped clamp designed for securing pipes with a connection size of 3 1/2". The M10 threaded element allows a secure bolted connection to a support structure, such as a cable tray, pipe support or mounting frame.
The galvanised coating provides protection against corrosion in typical installation conditions, both indoors and in places exposed to moisture. The U-bolt is supplied complete with nuts and washers, allowing immediate installation without the need to source additional fasteners.
Application
The CB U-bolt is suitable wherever a pipe needs to be firmly secured to a substrate or load-bearing structure. It works well in plumbing, heating and gas installations, as well as in cable routing and process pipework.
Design
The U-bolt has a U-shaped form with two threaded arms ending in a chamfer that makes it easier to start the nuts. The dimensional drawing shows the key geometric parameters: arm spacing (A), overall width including rod diameter (B), U-bolt height (H), thread length (L1), thread size (M) and rod diameter (ØD).
