Bird spikes 50 cm – strip with stainless steel rods on a polycarbonate base

Bird spikes measuring 50 cm in length are a proven way to protect solar PV installations, window sills, cornices and railings from pigeons, sparrows and other small bird species. The dense construction with 120 spikes per linear metre and an additional inner row of rods effectively prevents even the smallest birds, such as starlings, from landing. The base, made of clear, flexible polycarbonate, is resistant to UV radiation and weather conditions, ensuring long-lasting durability without material degradation. The spike rods, made of stainless steel, have blunt-tipped ends — birds are not injured but are effectively deterred and learn to avoid the protected areas.
