Description
10 cm sample – to check before you order
A short piece of the profile to see the cross-section and finish and to check how bolts and clamps fit before you order full lengths. For the mounting structure, choose a full-length profile from the comparison table below.
What it is for
Aluminium mounting rail for photovoltaic installations. The panels are fixed on top of the profile with mid and end clamps, and the profile is bolted underneath to roof hooks, adapters or triangles.
- ✓You are mounting photovoltaic panels on roof hooks, adapters or triangles.
- ✓You fix the panel clamps with M8 fixings (top channel).
- ✓You connect the profile to the hook or adapter with an M10 hammer-head bolt, type 28/15, and a flange nut (bottom channel).
- ✓You want to check the profile in your hand first – this is a 10 cm sample in black (anodised); full lengths are in the comparison table below.
Don't mix up the profiles
Do you have M10 hexagon bolts? Choose the profile for M10 hexagon bolts – this profile has a bottom channel for hammer-head bolts.

Disclaimer
Support spacing and load capacity are determined by the structural design – taking into account snow and wind loads and the roof structure.
