Unequal Angle Aluminium 40×20×2.6 mm – L Profile, Length 2000 mm
Unequal aluminium angle 40×20×2.6 mm is a versatile L-profile with a length of 2000 mm, manufactured from alloy EN AW-6060 T64 (AlMgSi0.5). Thanks to its asymmetric legs, it is suitable wherever an unequal angular connection is required — from frames and racking through edge finishing to small support structures and repairs. The mill finish aluminium surface is ready for further processing: anodising, powder coating, or direct installation in non-exposed locations.
The low self-weight — just 0.78 kg per 2 m length (linear density 0.39 kg/m) — makes the profile easy to transport and handle on site, while the 6060 alloy in T64 condition provides good rigidity and inherent corrosion resistance.

Applications
The 40×20 mm unequal angle is widely used in installation and structural work. The longer leg 40 mm allows secure fixing to a substrate or load-bearing profile, whilst the shorter leg 20 mm serves as a stop or finishing element. The profile is ideal as part of mounting frames, edge reinforcements, corner guards, cable tray supports, and anywhere a lightweight yet strong angular structure is required. Aluminium in the T64 condition (artificially aged) guarantees increased hardness and dimensional stability, which is important for precision joints and long-term outdoor use.
