Mounting Plate for Roof Covering 375x375mm CWL - Stainless Steel H17 1.4016 for photovoltaic systems.

The Mounting Plate for Roof Covering 375x375mm CWL is a safe and universal solution for permanent mounting of components on asphalt and plastic roofs. The mounting plate can be installed above or below the existing roof membrane for an aesthetic appearance. Measuring 400 x 400 mm for welding, this mounting plate provides secure and durable fixing without the need for mechanical fastening.

The membrane should comply with EN 13707:2004+A2:2009 standards and meet the following requirements:

Tensile strength in longitudinal and transverse direction min. 300 N/50 mm EN 12311-1

Tear resistance min. 150 N EN 12310-1

Shear resistance at longitudinal and transverse joints min. 500 N/50 mm EN 12317-1

Mounting plate under roofing felt

1. Cut a piece of roofing felt measuring 500 x 500 mm. (In case of roof renovation, the mounting plate can be welded between the existing and new felt. An additional piece of felt measuring 500 x 500 mm is then not necessary).

2. Place the bolt under the plate in the designated hole and weld the mounting plate to the centre of the cut piece of roofing felt.

3. Place the protective sleeve on the bolt.

4. Make a hole for the bolt in the upper felt.

5. Weld the felt over the entire surface of the mounting plate.

6. Check that the welds at the fixing points are complete.

7. Remove the bolt protective sleeve.

Felt mounting plate

1. Place the bolt under the plate in the designated hole and weld the mounting plate at the selected location.

2. Cut a piece of felt measuring 800 x 1200 mm, 880 x 1100 mm or 1000 x 1000 mm.

3. Place the protective sleeve on the bolt.

4. Make a hole for the bolt in the cut piece of roofing felt.

5. Weld the membrane over the entire surface of the mounting plate.

6. Check that the welds at the fixing points are complete.

7. Remove the bolt protective sleeve.
