Grounding pad - contact plate - grounding and electrical potential equalization element in photovoltaic installation.
Grounding pad - contact plate is a mounting element of photovoltaic installation, which is used to equalize potentials of photovoltaic frames, structures and modules. The contact pad ensures galvanic continuity of the connections of solar installation frames.
The role of sharp tabs is to pierce the thin anodized aluminum layer covering the frames of solar panels. This layer is an insulator and does not conduct electrical charges. The tabs provide a solid and durable electrical connection by reaching the aluminum layer just behind the anodized layer.
The contact plate is made of stainless steel which guarantees corrosion resistance and ensures uninterrupted operation for many years.
