Balustrade post base for welding is an essential structural element designed for permanent mounting of balustrade posts in the 42.4 mm system. Made from stainless steel AISI 304 with satin finish, it provides high corrosion resistance and an aesthetic, coherent appearance with other balustrade elements.
The base is intended for welding — the tubular post with diameter 42.4 mm is inserted into the central hole and permanently joined with a weld, guaranteeing maximum stability and strength of the entire structure. Two elongated mounting holes (slots) enable the base to be screwed to the substrate with some adjustment tolerance, facilitating precise installation even with minor irregularities.
The mounting part can be covered with a dedicated cover plate (available separately), which conceals the fixing holes and weld, giving the balustrade an elegant, finished appearance.
