Aluminium Round Tube Ø40×2 mm EN AW-6060 – Length 2000 mm
Aluminium round tube Ø40×2 mm is a universal closed profile with circular cross-section, manufactured from aluminium alloy EN AW-6060 T6 (PA38 / AlMgSi0.5). Thanks to its excellent strength-to-weight ratio and natural corrosion resistance, it performs well wherever lightweight construction, ease of machining and aesthetic appearance are important. The tube in raw condition (non-anodised) is ready for further processing — cutting, drilling, bending, welding and anodising according to project requirements.
Applications
Round profile Ø40 mm finds wide application in construction of aluminium structures, balustrades and handrails, frames, support structures and furniture elements. Properties of EN AW-6060 T6 alloy
AlMgSi0.5 alloy in T6 condition (precipitation hardening) is characterised by excellent extrudability, which allows achieving precise profiles with smooth surface finish. It features high resistance to atmospheric corrosion, good weldability and ease of anodising — after anodising it achieves aesthetic, uniform finish. This is one of the most popular aluminium alloys used in construction and lightweight structures.
