Perforated plate flat connector PP 4 40x160x2.0
Description
Perforated Plate PP 4 40×160×2 mm – Galvanised Steel Timber Connector
The steel perforated plate 40×160 mm is a versatile timber connector designed for durable joints between wooden elements whose lateral surfaces lie in the same plane. Made from galvanised steel sheet with a thickness of 2 mm, it provides high mechanical strength and effective corrosion protection — making it ideal for assembling roof trusses, timber substructures, and wherever a secure and quick connection between two flat surfaces is required.

Design and Features
The plate features 16 holes with a diameter of 5 mm, evenly distributed across the entire surface, offering great flexibility when selecting a fastening pattern. This allows a single connector to be used for both straightforward and more complex timber joints. The working surface area is 1.35 dm², and the CE marking confirms compliance with European construction standards. A Declaration of Performance is available for this product.

Application and Installation
Perforated plates are indispensable in joints where the lateral surfaces of the connected timber elements lie in the same plane. They are most commonly used in the assembly of roof trusses, reinforcement of post-and-beam connections, and as connectors in lightweight timber frame structures. The uniform distribution of holes allows flexible adaptation of the fastening pattern to the requirements of a specific structural node.
