Balustrade post base designed for welding — a key structural component ensuring stable and durable mounting of balustrade posts to the substrate. Dedicated to tubes with diameter 42.4 mm (standard balustrade system 42.4), made from AISI 304 stainless steel with satin finish.
The base forms the foundation of every balustrade structure — it transfers loads and ensures stability of the entire post. Three mounting holes enable additional fixing to the substrate using anchors, whilst the central hole with diameter 42.4 mm allows precise positioning and welding of the post tube. The mounting section can be aesthetically covered with a dedicated cover plate, achieving a clean, professional appearance of the finished balustrade.

Application and installation
The base is designed for welding balustrade posts in the fi 42.4 mm tube system. Installation involves positioning the post tube in the central hole and executing a circumferential weld. Three mounting holes fi 8.5 mm arranged symmetrically around the perimeter enable additional mechanical anchoring to the substrate, which increases load capacity and structural rigidity. AISI 304 stainless steel provides high corrosion resistance — the component is suitable for both internal and external applications.
