Square aluminium tube 40×40×3 mm is a versatile closed profile with a length of 2000 mm, made of EN AW-6060 T6/T66 aluminium alloy (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38). Thanks to its favourable strength-to-weight ratio and high corrosion resistance, it is a reliable structural element in a wide range of applications — from frames and mounting frames, through balustrades and handrails, to aluminium structures, furniture components, and modelling and DIY projects.
The raw (non-anodised) profile gives complete freedom for further processing — it is easy to cut, drill, bend and join, which means shorter turnaround time and lower installation costs on site. The square closed section ensures high rigidity with relatively low weight.
