Square aluminium tube 40×40×3 mm is a versatile closed profile with a length of 2000 mm, manufactured from EN AW-6060 T64 aluminium alloy (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38). Thanks to its favourable strength-to-weight ratio and high corrosion resistance, it is a reliable structural component across a wide range of applications — from frames and mounting structures, through balustrades and handrails, to aluminium constructions, furniture elements, and modelling or DIY projects.
The raw (non-anodised) profile offers complete freedom for further processing — it can be easily cut, drilled, bent, and joined, resulting in a shorter lead time and lower installation costs on site. The square closed cross-section guarantees high rigidity at a relatively low weight.
